PGPD Operation to Engage Morning Commuters on Marckel Ross Murder Investigation

The Prince George’s County Police Department will talk with commuters and pedestrians Monday morning about the Markel Ross murder. Detectives and police officers will concentrate their efforts in the area in which the teenager was killed as he walked to school the morning of September 11, 2012.

Detectives are following up on an investigative development in the case. Investigators believe an unidentified citizen may have been robbed in the area prior to the murder. It’s believed the robbery victim did not report the crime. Detectives would like to speak with that victim.

The murder of Marckel Ross remains a priority for the Prince George's County Police Department.
