PGPD Investigates Murder in Lewisdale

The Prince George’s County Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of 20 year-old Edwin Alexander Lainez-Noyola in Lewisdale.

On November 11, 2012, at approximately 1:25 am, police officers responded to Charleston Place and Drexel Street for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Lainez-Noyola, of the 7300 block of 23rd Avenue in Lewisdale, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
