Chief Magaw to Honor Officers for Dedication to Duty

It was a senseless crime. An argument between a man and a group of young people turned into a fatal stabbing. It happened last summer. Our officers arrived quickly on the scene. CPR was started on the victim. Other officers focused on talking to witnesses and gathering facts. Our Aviation Unit and K9 section were called in to help. Within eight hours, six suspects were in custody. The officers who worked throughout the night to find and arrest these suspects are among the many PGPD officers who Chief Magaw will recognize tomorrow at our Quarterly Awards Ceremony.

When: Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Time:   1:00 pm

Where: Police Services Complex
            7600 Barlowe Road
