WANTED WEDNESDAY


                 Robbery Suspect

 



This suspect is wanted in connection with an armed robbery on August 10th. The investigation reveals he approached a victim around 1:15 am on Sheridan Street. He pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim wasn’t hurt. Minutes later, this suspect used the victim’s stolen credit card at two convenience stores in the District—one on South Dakota Avenue in Northeast and one on Hawaii Avenue in Northwest.        Burglary Suspect

 



This suspect is wanted for breaking into a car dealership in Upper Marlboro. The business in the 15000 block of Marlboro Pike was closed at the time. The suspect targeted it sometime between 11:00 pm and 1:30 am on August 13th-14th. Once inside, he took several items. This suspect has a tattoo on the left side of his neck. Detectives are looking into whether this same man is responsible for burglarizing the Moose Lodge on Marlboro Pike on August 8th. That suspect also had a tattoo on his neck.

                  Breaking & Entering Case




Detectives with our Regional Investigation Division are working to identify the person in this photo. The person of interest is wanted for questioning in connection with a breaking and entering in the Clinton area on August 12th. The person is described as a black female with a short haircut. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and yellow shorts. If you have information on this person’s identity, you are asked to call 301-868-8773.

 

 

       Fraudulent Check Cashing Investigation
 

 
Detectives would like to speak with the three people in these photos in connection with an investigation into the cashing of fraudulent checks. In early July, our investigation reveals several suspects cashed bad checks at various banks in our region. In all, more than $10,000 dollars was stolen from several victims. Our detectives are working to find this suspect and this vehicle. Our investigation reveals the suspect broke into a business in the 6000 block of Mallery Drive in Lanham on July 26th. Once inside, he made off with several pieces of electronics. He was seen driving the vehicle in the photo—it’s believed to a new model Jeep Wrangler.
