Detectives Investigate Homicide in Capitol Heights

The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday night in Capitol Heights. The victim is 23-year-old Antjuan Dantignac of Southern Avenue in Capitol Heights. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On November 2nd, at about 9:35 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4100 block of Byers Street for a shooting. The officers found the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
                               
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
