Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Temple Hills

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Temple Hills. The victim is 26-year-old Michael Corey Roberts of Elliott Place in Temple Hills. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On December 5th, at about 8:20 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3200 block of Curtis Drive for the report of a shooting. The victim was found outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.


Detectives are looking to identify a suspect(s) and a motive in this case.
